This is a convention release 1/12 kit of Sailor V with Artemis.

Sailor Moon G-port Tsukino Usagi School Uniform Resin Garage Kit セーラームーン ガレージキット 月野 うさぎ

Finally I have finished my G-port Usagi School Uniform kit to complete my Uniform Inners set. You can see boxart and unbuilt pictures from a 2011 post here. First released in 1993, this G-port kit was one of the first resin kits released for the Sailor Moon series. Sculpted by Ageta Yukiwo, Usagi’s face has a really great likeness to the first anime. The standard release came with the winking face, but since I got the version with the two additional heads, I decided to complete mine with a different face. I really like the expression of this one, Usagi looks really happy!

The Winter 2017 Wonder Festival took place about a month ago on Feb 19th. This year I got Konoka’s new 1/9 Sailor Moon resin kit, “moon crystal version”  and Factory 29’s 1/6 Hell Girl Enma Ai kit.

Sailor Moon Crystal Chibimoon Sculpture セーラームーン クリスタル フルスクラッチ セーラーちびムーン Part 2

This post will conclude my work on my Sailor Moon Crystal Chibimoon sculpture. Part 1 was posted a few months ago and showed the sculpting work up until the left most image above. Part 2 covers the rest of the sculpting through to final completion. The reference image that this sculpture is based on is shown above, far right. Total working time spanned over 10 months, but actual working time was not recorded. This is a full scratch build using mostly magic sculpt. Completely hand painted with Vallejo and Oils.
